Freelance E-commerce Officer — E-commerce Operations Remote

Role summary

ZOFAD Activewear is hiring a Freelance Part-Time E-commerce Operations Officer to support pre-launch, launch and the initial months of operations. This is an initial 3-month, part-time freelance engagement (approx. 5–8 hours/week) with potential to evolve into a longer-term fractional role.

Responsibilities

• Manage e-commerce and Shopify operations to support launch and daily storefront activities.
• Oversee order and inventory management and coordinate with 3PL/fulfilment partners.
• Coordinate UAE, GCC and international shipping logistics and fulfilment flows.
• Handle returns and exchanges processes and operational troubleshooting during launch.
• Prepare simple operational reports and suggest process improvements.

Preferred experience

The founder is particularly interested in candidates with hands-on experience in fashion, activewear, beauty or DTC e-commerce. Experience with UAE/GCC e-commerce operations and working with 3PL providers is a strong advantage.
