Cybersecurity Specialist Remote — Overview

Global Technologies GT is hiring Cybersecurity Specialists to work fully remote from Egypt on a full-time basis. The role focuses on operating and maintaining security controls, incident response, and supporting security operations across a distributed environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Endpoint Security (EDR/EPP) and security policies.
• Manage Firewalls, IPS/IDS, and network security controls.
• Administer and tune WAF policies.
• Manage email security and anti-phishing solutions.
• Manage web security, proxy, URL filtering, and SSL inspection.
• Manage PAM solutions including privileged accounts and session monitoring.
• Investigate, contain, and remediate security incidents.
• Monitor security alerts and continuously optimize policies and controls.
• Prepare security reports and maintain incident documentation.

The above also implies general professional tasks such as documenting procedures, collaborating with other teams to improve controls, and participating in security reviews.

Requirements (as stated by the employer)

• 4–7 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, SOC, Security Operations, or Security Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with multiple technologies such as EDR/EPP, Firewalls, IPS/IDS, WAF, Email Security, Web Security, and PAM/CyberArk.
• Strong knowledge of incident response, threat management, and security operations.
• Experience with cybersecurity companies, system integrators, MSSPs, or enterprise environments is preferred.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications are a plus (employer note).
