Job Overview

Covenant Global Tech is looking for a Remote Databricks Developer / AI Engineer with 5-7 years of experience to work on data engineering and AI/ML solutions. The role is remote on the UAE shift, with a willingness to travel to Qatar when required, and requires strong hands-on experience with modern data tools.

Responsibilities

This role typically involves:

• Developing and managing Databricks Workflows for data processing and automation.
• Working with Delta Lake and PySpark for scalable data engineering.
• Implementing data governance and security using Unity Catalog.
• Using MLflow for experiment tracking and model management.
• Developing anomaly detection and other ML use cases.
• Creating and configuring Databricks Genie/Copilot agents.
• Collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver solutions.
• Building reliable, production-ready data solutions.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks Workflows, Delta Lake, and PySpark.
• Good knowledge of Unity Catalog and MLflow.
• Experience with anomaly detection and machine learning concepts.
• Experience creating Databricks Genie/Copilot agents.
• Strong Python and SQL skills and an understanding of REST APIs.
• Databricks Certified Associate or Professional certification is mandatory.
