Job Overview
Covenant Global Tech is looking for a Remote Databricks Developer / AI Engineer with 5-7 years of experience to work on data engineering and AI/ML solutions. The role is remote on the UAE shift, with a willingness to travel to Qatar when required, and requires strong hands-on experience with modern data tools.
Responsibilities
This role typically involves:
- Developing and managing Databricks Workflows for data processing and automation.
- Working with Delta Lake and PySpark for scalable data engineering.
- Implementing data governance and security using Unity Catalog.
- Using MLflow for experiment tracking and model management.
- Developing anomaly detection and other ML use cases.
- Creating and configuring Databricks Genie/Copilot agents.
- Collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver solutions.
- Building reliable, production-ready data solutions.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks Workflows, Delta Lake, and PySpark.
- Good knowledge of Unity Catalog and MLflow.
- Experience with anomaly detection and machine learning concepts.
- Experience creating Databricks Genie/Copilot agents.
- Strong Python and SQL skills and an understanding of REST APIs.
- Databricks Certified Associate or Professional certification is mandatory.
