Job Overview
Upila Digital is looking for a detail-oriented Remote Accountant to own end-to-end finance for its India and UAE entities, including invoicing, payroll, GST/TDS, UAE VAT, and vendor management. Kerala-based candidates are preferred, and the role suits someone with international accounting experience.
Responsibilities
This role typically involves:
- Managing invoicing and payroll.
- Complying with Indian GST/TDS and UAE VAT.
- Managing vendors and multi-currency international transactions.
- Preparing accurate financial reports.
- Tracking receivables and payables.
- Supporting monthly book closing.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of hands-on accounting experience.
- UAE invoicing and taxation experience (mandatory).
- Strong GST, TDS and Indian tax compliance knowledge.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets.
