Experienced Product Owner Remote — FinTech Product Lead

Overview

We are seeking a Product Owner Remote to join a team focused on digital financial products in the FinTech space. The role requires hands-on product ownership, close collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders, and support for US-based teams and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog, aligning items with business objectives and customer needs.
• Define, prioritize, and continuously refine product requirements and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, customer impact, feasibility, and strategy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, developers, QA engineers, and UX/UI designers across the product lifecycle.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Monitor product progress to ensure deliverables meet requirements, quality standards, and timelines.

General professional skills tied to the title include stakeholder communication, roadmap maintenance, product documentation, and analysis of customer feedback and market trends to identify improvement opportunities.

Requirements (from source)

• 4–5 years proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong FinTech or financial services experience with understanding of payments, banking, lending, cards, wallets, or related solutions.
• Solid knowledge of Agile and Scrum, experience managing backlogs and writing user stories.
• Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to work remotely from 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM Cairo Time to support US-based teams.
